1. When did you first support Liverpool?
I first began supporting Liverpool when I was around 6 years old. I was growing up on an estate in Cookstown, Northern Ireland and of course football was a big thing. Always kicking about every day after school and every minute at the weekends. A lot of boys there supported Liverpool and I took a shine to them also. Been a Liverpool fanatic from then lol. 2. What is your most memorable Liverpool experience? My most memorable Liverpool experience has to have been meeting a lot of the team and a few legends a couple of summers ago in Baltimore, Maryland USA. Even though I grew up in Ireland I never made it over to a game or anything as I emigrated to the USA at 19. They were here on the N. American Tour and got to go to a meet and greet after a training session. I got to meet a large list of 1st team players along with Fowler and RUshie. Not to be left out was another Liverpool legend in his own right, Mr Steve Parry lol. After communicating on line I got to meet the man personally. True gentleman! 3. Most favourite player? My most favorite player has to be Robbie Fowler. The man was absolutely brilliant when I was growing up. It was a massive thrill to meet him in person. Stevie G is a very, very close 2nd . I didn't get to meet him in Baltimore as he was at a different function , but hope to do so this summer in NY. 4. What’s your favourite Liverpool song? My favorite Liverpool song has to be You'll Never Walk Alone. When I hear it before any game it just makes my hair stand with anticipation. The history it holds, with the places and the people have sang it. It really is such a powerful anthem that bridges so many cultures, races and languages! YNWA 5. Which player(s) would you add to the squad in the next transfer window? As for players I would like to see coming in......theres a few. I really think we need to seriously address the backline. LB I feel is the most serious of that line. Luke Shaw would be fantastic to get but his pricing could put us out of the running. Also the young Spaniard Alberto Moreno looks very good at Sevilla. I think we also need to add more quality defensive midfielders. Yann M'villa could be available I think and would be a nice addition. Stevie cannt play forever in the deep roll and I like him as a mentor for a season or 2 to Yann. I would also like a bigger named striker to be the 3 man up front. Borini has showed flashes of maybe being good but im not 100% sold as of yet. I definitely like him and I hope the year away has helped him. There are lots more I could ramble on about but that would be my top areas. Im looking forward to the youngsters coming back as feel Suso,Robinson and Wisdom will push for spots in the off season. YNWA |
